Routine maintenance, defect rectification and installation for wet fire, dry fire, portable, exit & emergency lighting and passive systems — ISO 9001:2015 certified, delivered to AS 1851 and Ministerial Building Standard 002 (MBS 002), and digitally accountable through our live FieldInsight client portal.
We cover the full lifecycle of fire and life-safety systems — routine compliance maintenance, defect rectification, system upgrades and new installation — self-performed in-house across three divisions. Most clients come to us for maintenance and stay for the way we run it: to the standard, on schedule, with the evidence in your hands.
Routine servicing of every fire and life-safety system in your building — wet fire, dry fire, portable equipment, exit & emergency lighting and passive — to the AS 1851-2012 and MBS 002 regimes, with defects managed, certificates issued and compliance evidenced. Our core offer.
System upgrades, replacements and complete new installations across wet, dry, special-hazard and passive fire systems — delivered by our projects division alongside your maintenance program.
Your own live FieldInsight portal — asset register, service history, defects, certificates and an annual condition report. See everything, anytime, without asking us.
Every building's Essential Safety Provisions (ESP) schedule sets the maintenance regime its owner is legally required to meet. We service precisely to that schedule under AS 1851-2012 and Ministerial Building Standard 002 (MBS 002) — and where a building has no current ESP, we advise on the correct regime and put it in place.
Your maintenance matched line-for-line to each building's ESP schedule.
The current South Australian routine-service standard, applied correctly — superseding the legacy SA 76 / AS 1851-1994 regime.
A year-end, owner-ready compliance pack that supports your statutory reporting obligations.
A documented condition snapshot of every property each year — flagging ageing assets for capital planning and supporting each building's Form 3.
An asset-management-first platform built for AS 1851 / MBS 002 cyclic compliance. Every asset, service, defect and certificate is captured in one system — and you get your own live login to all of it.
Every asset on one register — type, location, manufacturer, serial, last test date, defect history and photos. Searchable by site or asset.
The AS 1851 cyclic regime auto-built per asset type — 1M / 3M / 6M / 12M / 5Y — so a compliance visit is never missed.
Compliance certificates and reports generated as polished PDFs within seconds of job completion — auto-emailed where configured.
Defects captured at the point of identification, flowing into the register and converting to a quote in one click — nothing is lost.
SWMS / JSA per job, electronic sign-off, permit-to-work and incident capture — integrated with our ISO 9001 QMS, not bolted on.
Per-technician competencies, trade licences and ticket expiry tracked — the right person, with the right ticket, on every job.

Wet & Dry Fire Services was founded in 2022 — starting small, with a single contract and a lot of hard work. In four and a half years we've grown into a team of 19, maintaining and installing fire systems for local government, defence, healthcare, commercial, retail and industrial clients right across South Australia — without a dollar of paid advertising. Every step of that growth has come from doing the work properly, standing behind it, and being the name clients pass on.
We're a genuine family business, with three generations of the same family working in the company today — and we invest in the next generation of our trade, sponsoring apprentices and testers through their qualifications and supporting the clubs, schools and causes in the communities we work in.
With Wet & Dry Fire, the decision-maker is in the room — no layer between you and the people accountable for your contract.

Founder and managing director — leads the business, its strategy and its key client relationships.

Leads project delivery and our fire detection and electrical division.

Our technical lead — oversees estimating, system expertise and technical support across every contract.

Heads our service and maintenance division and the day-to-day delivery of client compliance work.

Essential safety provisions must be inspected and tested at the frequencies set out in AS 1851 and Ministerial Building Standard 002 — anywhere from monthly to annually depending on the system. We build a schedule that captures every asset at its required frequency and keeps the records to prove it.
It spans every fire and life-safety system in your building: wet fire (hydrants, hose reels, pumps and sprinklers), dry fire (detection, alarms, occupant warning and fire indicator panels), portable equipment, exit and emergency lighting, and passive fire protection. We maintain all of them in-house.
Yes. We self-perform every discipline with our own local team, so you deal with one accountable provider and one contract instead of coordinating several specialists.
Absolutely — it's a core strength. We maintain more than 500 sites across South Australia for local government, defence and commercial clients, with a single point of contact and consolidated digital reporting across the whole portfolio.
Every defect is captured digitally, quoted to you in writing before any work proceeds, and closed out with evidence. Reactive labour and parts rates are fixed and transparent in your contract, so there are no surprises.
We hold a South Australian plumbing & electrical contractors licence (CBS PGE 359331) and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system. Our WHS and environmental systems are active and aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with certification in progress, and we are a member of the National Fire Industry Association (NFIA).
Yes — we provide 24/7 emergency call-out to our maintenance clients across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.
Send us the basics and we'll scope a maintenance program that keeps you compliant — with the evidence to prove it. Enquiries come straight to our team.
